Who are we?

The Office of Learning Technologies

The Office of Learning Technologies (OLT) is a multidisciplinary team, overseen by the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya’s Office of the Vice President for Technology, whose mission is to create a virtual campus environment that goes beyond functionality and usability, in which students can enjoy their learning process, enriching them as students as well as people.

One of the aims of the OLT is to develop language technologies-based projects, like the improvement -together with the company Prompsit- of the open source translation platform Apertium to provide services adapted to UOC needs.
